Most of doctors have limited time due to busy schedule at work. That’s why most of them hire medical transcriptionist to transcribe their medical record file and for me its the trend today when it comes to medical field. i tried to apply for a scholarship in one medical transcriptionist school because in order to became a medical transcriptionist you need to study a 2 years course about medical terms and etc. Being a medical transcriptionist is not a joke because you hold the life of the patient of your client, one mistake you commit can kill a patient. During that orientation the speaker show us the instruments they use like Earphone, Pedals, and computers with special software for transcribing. They also tell us that transcribing is not easy because most of the clients are ESL Doctors or English as Second Language Doctors who have slang factor that will give you hard time. But as always it’s worth it because Doctor pays big bucks to the medical transcriptionist.
